Welcome to the place where everything connects.

I'm Marshall McLean, a therapist in Spokane, Washington, and the founder of Heartland Marriage and Family Therapy. I chose the name 'Heartland' because I believe true healing begins when we find the place within us where everything connects—our mind, body, and spirit. My work is built on the values of connection and wholeness, with a mission to help you 'live from the heart.' In our sessions, you can expect warmth, compassion, and a non-judgmental space to explore your story, heal, and build the meaningful connections you deserve.

As a Marriage and Family Therapist Associate, I specialize in helping individuals, couples, and families navigate complex emotional landscapes. My areas of focus include supporting people through grief and loss, guiding men through existential challenges, and helping couples and families improve their communication and connection. I also frequently work with clients to address and manage underlying issues of anxiety and depression.

In-Person Therapy in Spokane & Online Across Washington State.

“Marshall is an ideal fit for anyone seeking something different from traditional therapy, you'll see challenges as a story, not a personal failure. His empowering approach illuminates greater meaning, and a new path forward, with a healing exploration.”
