Couples Therapy
Real, lasting relationship transformation requires moving past surface-level communication tips. It demands looking at the deeper blueprints of your connection.
A Systemic, Research-Backed Approach to Your Partnership
In my practice, I treat your relationship as a living system. I don’t take sides, and I don’t offer quick fixes. Instead, we work together to uncover the underlying dynamics, childhood blueprints, and intergenerational patterns that quietly drive your current conflicts.
By blending deep, systemic insights with highly structured, evidence-based frameworks such as The Gottman Method and Emotionally Focused Therapy (EFT), we examine both the conscious and unconscious habits holding you back.
Two Paths to Relational Transformation
Because every relationship operates on a unique timeline, I offer two distinct formats for our work together:
Path 1: Traditional Weekly Therapy
For couples looking to build steady, incremental momentum while integrating new tools into the rhythm of their daily lives. We meet for consistent weekly sessions to unpack patterns, repair communication lapses, and steadily rewrite your shared narrative.
Path 2: The Couples Weekend Intensive
Months of Therapy. One Weekend. Lasting Change.
For many couples, the traditional "one hour a week" model can feel like trying to move a mountain with a shovel amid the rush of daily life. The Weekend Intensive bypasses the slow start, dedicating a focused Friday evening and a full Saturday at my Spokane office to create the concentrated environment necessary for a true breakthrough.
This immersive format is ideal for couples in crisis, those navigating heavy professional burnout or life transitions, or partners whose busy schedules make weekly therapy impossible.
